Terms & Conditions

Professional Security Magazine (the “Website” www.professionalsecurity.co.uk) and Security Twenty exhibitions and conferences are operated in the United Kingdom by JTC Associates Ltd otherwise known as (the publisher)

 

1.    Placing your order
By submitting an order, you are making an offer to the publisher to order or subscribe or buy that magazine, product or service. The publisher may accept or reject your offer in its entire discretion. You will supply the contact information, order and payment details on your completed order form to the publisher of the magazine, product or service you wish to order. The publisher or its fulfilment agent will subsequently contact you by post or e-mail to confirm or request artwork for your order, in most cases within 4 weeks of placing your order.

 

2.    Contracting party
No contractual obligations will arise until your offer to subscribe or buy a product or service is confirmed by you to the publisher in either verbal, writing, email or by submitting an order number. Any contract that may arise is between you and the publisher of the relevant magazine, product or service.

 

3.    Information
Whilst every effort is taken to ensure that the information on the Website is accurate, all information relating to the magazine, products and services offered is provided by the publishers and they accept no responsibility for the accuracy of the information and is not responsible for any errors or omissions in the information provided on the Website or magazine and they may update or correct the information at any time.

 

4.    Your data
Any information we may collect from you shall be dealt with in accordance with its Privacy and Cookie Policy. By supplying your contact details with your order, you agree that your name, address, email and any telephone and mobile telephone number provided shall be passed to the publisher of the magazine, product or service ordered in order to process your order and provide the magazine, product or service. Your data will also be used by the publisher for the purposes of marketing other similar products and services to you by email, post, phone and SMS. You can opt out of receiving these marketing communications either at the time you place your order or subsequently by contacting the publisher directly. By making a purchase  you also agree to allow the publisher to send you offers for similar products and services via email, post, phone and SMS. You can opt out of receiving these marketing communications at the time you place your order

 

5.    Prices
Prices quoted  include delivery charges and taxes (where applicable) unless stated otherwise. Prices are for delivery within the UK only. Please note that if you have subscribed to a magazine subscription using vouchers there may be a delivery charge by your newsagents. If there has been a mistake in the price offered on the Website, the publisher may contact you to confirm whether or not you wish to subscribe or buy at the correct price. You should check that the price quoted by the publisher in its confirmation of acceptance of your order is the price you were expecting to pay.

 

6.    Payment
At the same time as passing your order to the publisher, you will notify the publisher of your choice of payment method and your payment details. If you choose to pay by invoice, the contract will be between you and the relevant publisher. If you choose to pay by credit or debit card, payment will be taken securely through the Website or via the telephone. All credit or debit card information you provide is encrypted using the latest Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, ensuring your credit or debit card details are safe and secure. The Website also meets the requirements of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI) which was created to ensure organisations that process card payments prevent fraud.

 

7.    Delivery
After your subscription has been set up by the publisher, the publisher will deliver or arrange for delivery of your magazine, product or service as soon as practicable. For printed magazines this is generally within 6 to 8 weeks. The publisher has no control over delivery or effectiveness of any advert and has no access to any information relating to your delivery or effectiveness. Any problems should be notified to the publisher.

 

8.    Cancellations and refunds
If you wish to cancel within seven working days of placing your order, please contact the publisher as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been  processed we will cancel it immediately and we will refund the full amount back to the same card used to place the order if its already been paid. If more than a period of seven working days has passed since you placed your order, or if we have already passed on your order to the production team then a 30 day cancellation notice will be required,  you will need to pay for the items booked during that period of cancellation. 9.    External links
This Website may contain links to other websites operated by third parties (“linked sites”). You acknowledge that the publisher does not endorse any linked site and is not responsible for any content of any linked site or any link contained in a linked site, or any changes or updates to such sites. Reference to, or inclusion on this Website of, any third party’s product does not constitute endorsement by the publisher of such third party or the quality or content of its product.
