A panel from 10.30am will be followed by a networking event from 11:30am. The Cyber Monitoring Centre is an independent, non-profit body set up by the insurance industry to provide transparency and clarity around major cyber events. Last summer, the CrowdStrike episode was a reminder of societies’ reliance on IT systems across industries. Despite this, there is no commonly agreed framework for categorising these events. Speakers are: Ciaran Martin, Professor of Practice at the Blavatnik School of Government and RUSI Distinguished Fellow; Sadie Creese, Professor of Cybersecurity at the University of Oxford; and Will Mayes, CEO of the Cyber Monitoring Centre.
