Role: Access Control and CCTV Installation Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced Access Control and CCTV Installation Engineer to join a leading electronic security systems integrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, wiring, and commissioning of IP-based CCTV and access control systems across a range of commercial, retail, and public sector sites.
Responsibilities:

Install, terminate, and commission Access Control and CCTV systems to a high standard.

Carry out 1st and 2nd fix installation work including containment, wiring, and equipment mounting.

Configure IP-based CCTV systems and integrate with client networks.

Read and interpret system schematics and technical drawings.

Work alongside project managers and other trades to deliver works on schedule.

Complete all relevant installation and commissioning documentation.

Ensure compliance with site safety and quality standards.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 3–5 years’ experience installing Access Control and CCTV systems.

Proven knowledge of IP CCTV (Hikvision, Hanwha, Axis, Avigilon, Pelco).

Experience with Access Control systems such as Paxton, Lenel, Gallagher, or C-Cure.

Strong understanding of network infrastructure and system integration.

Ability to work independently and take ownership of installations.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
