The role is to Lead the BIM/CAD team, ensuring drawing/model quality, compliance, and standards. Train teams, manage documentation, and serve as the main BIM/CAD contact.
Location is North East Midlands/South Yorks
Will consider further afield for the right candidate as long as they are happy to travel to the office 1 day p/w minimum
**Key Responsibilities:**
– Develop and enforce BIM processes, standards, and compliance (e.g., ISO 19650, IFC, COBie).
– Manage BIM documentation (BEPs, MPDTs), training, and technical support.
– Oversee BIM budgets, software, and hardware resources.
– Conduct audits, ensure data accuracy, and implement best practices.
– Coordinate BIM activities, clash detection, and quality assurance.
**Person Specification:**
**Essential:**
– BIM Manager experience with strong knowledge of ISO 19650.
– Expertise in BIM workflows, model auditing, and execution plans.
– Experience in Fire, Security, or Data infrastructure industries.
– Excellent communication, problem-solving, and IT skills.
– Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD) and data exchange formats.
**Desirable:**
– BIM certification or formal qualification.
– Knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Construction Cloud.
Salary – Up to £60k DOE
