Role: CAD Technician
Location: Fully Remote or Hybrid (UK)
Salary: £32,000 – £36,000 per annum
As a CAD Technician, you’ll play a key role in supporting security system projects by producing accurate technical drawings and layouts. You’ll work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet client requirements, comply with industry standards, and align with the company’s quality management system.
Responsibilities:

Produce accurate 2D drawings using AutoCAD, tailored to security system installations.

Create layouts and component designs for production and on-site installation.

Review project files to ensure compliance with relevant security industry standards.

Provide drawings, calculations, and supporting documents aligned with approved quotes.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 5 years’ experience using 2D AutoCAD.

Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.

Experience working on drawings within a construction, engineering, or security systems environment (advantageous).
