Role: Commercial Sprinkler Design Engineer
Location: Kent
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer with a background in commercial and residential projects? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading fire protection contractor, where you will play a key role in full life cycle sprinkler design, ensuring compliance with LPCB and British Standards while delivering accurate hydraulic calculations.
Responsibilities:

Produce detailed sprinkler system designs for commercial and residential projects.

Carry out hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and water supply analysis.

Prepare layout drawings, schematics, and design documentation using AutoCAD (Revit desirable).

Ensure compliance with LPCB and BS EN12845 / BS9251 standards.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to support smooth project delivery.

Provide technical support across design, installation, and commissioning stages.

Maintain accurate project records and implement design updates when required.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Proven experience in sprinkler system design.

Strong knowledge of LPCB and British Standards (BS EN12845 / BS9251).

Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience highly desirable).

Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and project teams.

LPCB Basic/Intermediate/Design Certificates (highly advantageous).
