Role: Commercial Sprinkler Design Engineer
Location: Kent
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Sprinkler Design Engineer with a background in commercial and residential projects? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading fire protection contractor, where you will play a key role in full life cycle sprinkler design, ensuring compliance with LPCB and British Standards while delivering accurate hydraulic calculations.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce detailed sprinkler system designs for commercial and residential projects.

  • Carry out hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, and water supply analysis.

  • Prepare layout drawings, schematics, and design documentation using AutoCAD (Revit desirable).

  • Ensure compliance with LPCB and BS EN12845 / BS9251 standards.

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project managers to support smooth project delivery.

  • Provide technical support across design, installation, and commissioning stages.

  • Maintain accurate project records and implement design updates when required.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience in sprinkler system design.

  • Strong knowledge of LPCB and British Standards (BS EN12845 / BS9251).

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit experience highly desirable).

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients and project teams.

  • LPCB Basic/Intermediate/Design Certificates (highly advantageous).
