Job Title: Data Cabling Engineer
Location: Somerset
Rate: £165 p/day
Are you a Data Cabling Engineer with experience in structured cabling and containment? As a Data Cabling Engineer, you will be expected to install and terminate Cat6 cabling, pull fibre, and carry out 1st and 2nd fix containment works including tray and basket.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Installation and termination of Cat6 cabling
- Fibre pulling across site infrastructure
- 1st and 2nd fix containment including tray and basket
- Work safely to site standards and deliver projects to a high standard
Experience required:
- Proven background in Cat6 installation and termination
- Experience in fibre pulling and containment (tray and basket)
- Competence in 1st and 2nd fix structured cabling works
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- CITB H&S Pass Certificate (essential)
- PASMA (beneficial)
- IPAF (beneficial)
- Standard hand tools and termination tools
- Battery drill
- Full PPE
