Application Engineer
Embedded Client | Enterprise level CCTV & Access Control | up to £65,000 basic + Benefits
We’re working with a leading global security technology business to find an Application Engineer to join their growing team. In this role, you’ll make sure access control, CCTV, and other critical security systems keep running smoothly across regional sites—helping protect some of the world’s most important environments.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting and maintaining security systems, including access control, CCTV, biometric devices, and key management solutions.

Programming and commissioning systems to meet customer needs.

Reviewing installations and making sure everything is set up correctly from day one.

Troubleshooting issues remotely or on-site and making sure any problems get fixed quickly.

Maintaining workstation images and supporting peripherals.

Managing the smooth handover of systems from install to live operation.

Resolving support tickets and helping deliver upgrade and maintenance programs.

Creating clear documentation and guides for teams and clients.
What We’re Looking For

At least 5 years’ experience in a similar security systems support role.

Solid background working with access control, CCTV, and related tech.

Ideally, experience with Lenel OnGuard, Milestone CCTV, Alcatraz AI biometrics, Keywatcher, Traka, or HID SAFE.

Strong understanding of Windows environments and basic IT networks (LAN/WAN).

Great communication skills—you’re comfortable talking to clients and colleagues alike.

Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage your workload independently.
