Role: Fire Alarm Installation Engineer
Location: Norwich
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer position working in Norwich? As a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and upgrade of fire detection systems across commercial, industrial, and public-sector sites. This is an opportunity to join a reputable fire & security contractor with long-standing contracts and excellent progression opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission fire alarm systems to BS5839 standards
- Run, terminate, and test cabling for new fire detection systems
- Upgrade existing systems and complete panel replacements
- Work from drawings and schematics to deliver high-quality installations
- Complete all installation paperwork accurately and on time
- Provide excellent customer service on client sites
Experience and Certifications Required:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience installing fire alarm systems
- Strong understanding of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
- Experience with major brands (e.g., Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Apollo)
- Valid ECS/CSCS Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Full UK Driving Licence
