Job Title: Fire alarm service engineer
Location: Newcastle
Rate: £230 p/day
Are you an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer looking to join a company that values quality, reliability, and professional growth? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a range of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Service and maintain Fire Alarm systems to BS 5839 standards.
- Carry out routine inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis.
- Complete all service documentation accurately and on time.
- Work closely with clients to deliver an excellent service experience.
- Participate in the on-call rota when required.
Experience required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Fire Alarm servicing and maintenance.
- Experience with systems such as Advanced, Kentec, C-Tec, and Apollo.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:
- ● FIA or manufacturer training
- ● ECS/CSCS Card.
- ● Full UK Driving Licence.
