Role: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Wakefield
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Are you looking for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer position working in Wakefield? As a Fire Alarm Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and fault-finding on a range of fire alarm systems across commercial and industrial sites. You will be working for a leading Fire & Security provider delivering high-quality planned and reactive service works across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Routine servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems in line with BS5839.
- Fault-finding, diagnostics and remedial repairs on addressable and conventional systems.
- Testing devices, loops and interfaces to ensure system performance and compliance.
- Completing service reports, asset lists and compliance documentation accurately.
- Providing exceptional customer service and technical support to end users.
- Working independently across multiple sites while ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Fire Alarm Service Engineer.
- Strong working knowledge of addressable systems such as Advanced, Kentec, Morley, Gent, or similar.
- Experience servicing fire alarms in commercial or industrial settings.
- Understanding of BS5839 and fire system compliance requirements.
- ECS/CSCS Card
