Role: Fire Alarm Service Engineer
Location: Coventry
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Technical Resources are currently recruiting for a Fire Alarm Service Engineer to work across commercial and industrial sites, carrying out service, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire detection systems. You will be joining a specialist Fire & Security provider delivering high-quality servicing in accordance with BS5839 standards.
Responsibilities:
- Routine service, maintenance, and remedial works on fire alarm systems.
- Fault-finding and diagnostics on addressable and conventional panels.
- Testing devices, loops, interfaces, and cause & effect functionality.
- Completing service reports and compliance documentation accurately.
- Liaising with clients and site representatives to provide professional support.
- Ensuring works are completed safely and in line with industry standards.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience servicing fire alarm systems.
- Strong knowledge of addressable systems (Advanced, Kentec, Gent, Morley, C-Tec or similar).
- Experience working in commercial, public sector, or industrial environments.
- Understanding of BS5839 and fire system compliance requirements.
