Role: Fire and Security Field Line Manager
Location: West London
Salary: £52,000 per annum + Bonus + Car or Car Allowance.

Are you a Fire and Security Field Line Manager based in West London, looking for a new opportunity? As a Fire and Security Field Line Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing and developing a team of fire and security engineers across West London and the surrounding areas. You’ll be working for a well-established fire and security organisation focused on quality delivery, continuous improvement, and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day activities of field-based fire and security engineers to ensure efficient operations
  • Recruit new engineers and deliver a strong onboarding experience
  • Drive continuous improvement across engineer performance, training, and development
  • Coach engineers, identifying progression opportunities and training needs
  • Manage the on-call rota, ensuring customer requirements, KPIs, and SLAs are met
  • Attend site investigations and customer-requested visits when required
  • Ensure quality standards across all works, including technical and job audits
  • Act as an escalation point for technical queries from engineers and office teams
  • Take responsibility for RAMS, PPE, toolbox talks, van audits, and accident investigations
  • Complete escalation or aged works for a small percentage of time to support revenue
  • Conduct annual appraisals and lead regular team meetings
  • Support upskilling and ongoing technical development of engineers

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Over 5 years of experience working with fire and security systems
  • Comprehensive industry experience with strong technical knowledge
  • Good understanding of relevant legislation, standards, and compliance
  • Experience leading, coaching, or developing engineering teams
  • Previous management or supervisory experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines
