Job Title: Fire and Security Service Engineer

Location: Cardiff

Rate: £215 – £225 p/day

We are looking for a Fire and Security Service Engineer in Cardiff with a solid background in service and maintenance across a range of security systems. This role is based in Cardiff and involves comprehensive maintenance work on CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, and emergency lighting systems. The ideal candidate will be adept at working across different system types, including Galaxy/Texecom intruders, IP/analogue CCTV, and both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.

Description of contract/programme of works:

  • Carry out regular service and maintenance on CCTV, intruder alarms, fire alarms, and optionally, emergency lighting.
  • Work with various systems including Galaxy/Texecom intruder alarms, IP/analogue CCTV, and conventional/addressable fire alarms.
  • Complete PPMs (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and PMVs (Preventative Maintenance Visits) on fire, CCTV, intruder, and access control systems, submitting daily dockets to the customer as proof of work.

Experience required:

  • Preferably 5 years of experience in the fire and security industry, with a proven ability to efficiently complete jobs.

Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

  • No specific qualifications are required for this role, although relevant experience and a proven track record are essential.
