Role: Fire & Security Contracts Manager
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Fire & Security Contracts Manager based in London, looking to take ownership of key commercial accounts within a growing organisation? Technical Resources are recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join a well-established Fire & Security provider, overseeing prestigious clients across sectors including education, healthcare, hospitality, heritage, and leisure. This role suits a technically strong manager who enjoys leading teams, managing relationships, and driving service excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the technical account lead for several key commercial clients
- Manage and support an in-house engineering team of approximately 8–10 engineers
- Oversee around £1m in annual contract revenue
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive account management
- Develop a sustainable pipeline of remedial works, upgrades, and small projects
- Prepare quotations, estimates, and technical upgrade proposals
- Ensure service delivery meets agreed SLAs, KPIs, and contractual obligations
- Oversee small works and minor installations, supporting larger projects alongside Project Managers
- Manage financial reporting, invoicing, progress claims, and monthly reviews
- Take responsibility for SHEQ compliance, risk assessments, and technical audits
- Support team development through regular one-to-ones and performance reviews
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Proven experience within the Fire & Security industry, ideally from a technical or engineering background
- Strong knowledge of large-scale commercial Fire & Security systems, including IP-based and integrated solutions
- Demonstrated leadership and people management experience
- Commercially astute with confidence, managing budgets and financial reporting
- Excellent communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
