Fire & Security Project Manager
Location: Birmingham – Covering the Midlands area
Rate: £300–£350 per day (DOE)
Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension
Start Date: Early February 2026

About the Role

We’re seeking an experienced Fire and Security Project Manager to oversee multiple concurrent projects across the Midlands region. This is a hands-on position, requiring a strong technical background in fire and security systems and proven experience managing end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage several projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and to budget.
  • Liaise directly with end clients to ensure satisfaction and clear communication throughout project lifecycles.
  • Coordinate site activities, including subcontractors and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant H&S standards and quality guidelines.
  • Monitor project performance, preparing progress reports, risk assessments, and cost reviews.
  • Support the project team with technical and commercial decision-making as needed.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Strong knowledge across multiple fire and security disciplines (fire alarm, CCTV, access control, intruder systems, etc.).
  • Proven track record of managing multiple smaller-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working directly with end clients.
  • Principal contractor experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
