Role: Fire & Security Project Manager
Location: East London
Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum

Are you an experienced Fire & Security Engineer ready to take the next step into Project Management? Technical Resources are recruiting a motivated and technically skilled Fire & Security Project Manager to join a growing team in East London.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move off the tools and lead commercial installation projects within the FM public sector. You’ll oversee projects from start to finish, managing budgets, schedules, and teams while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple Fire & Security installation projects, typically valued between £1,000 – £1m

  • Oversee design reviews, procurement, installation, commissioning, and project handovers

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors

  • Prepare and control project documentation, including RAMS, programmes, and handover packs

  • Ensure compliance with NSI, SSAIB, FIA, and company standards

  • Lead and support engineers, subcontractors, and commissioning teams

  • Monitor project progress, risks, and maintain profitability

  • Report on financial performance, variations, and overall project status

  • Conduct site visits to verify safety, quality, and operational performance

  • Deliver complete project handovers, including documentation and client training

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, or an experienced Fire & Security Engineer looking to progress into management

  • Strong technical understanding of fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and integrated systems

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills

  • Knowledge of NSI, SSAIB, and FIA standards

  • Full UK driving licence essential
