Job Title: Fire & Security Small Works Engineer
Location: London
Rate: £220 p/day
We are seeking an experienced Fire & Security Small Works Engineer to carry out installation, commissioning, and remedial works across multiple sites in London. The role involves working on a variety of systems, including fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems. You’ll be responsible for ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with current regulations.
Description of contract/programme of works:

Installation and commissioning of fire alarm systems (Advanced, Kentec, C-TEC, Morley)

Installation and servicing of CCTV systems (Hikvision)

Installation and maintenance of intruder alarm systems (Galaxy)

Installation and configuration of access control systems (Paxton)
You will be responsible for delivering quality installations, ensuring all works meet British Standards, client specifications, and health & safety requirements.
Experience required:
-
Proven experience as a Fire & Security Engineer, ideally within small works or project environments.

Strong installation and commissioning skills across multiple system types.

Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

Excellent fault-finding and system knowledge.
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

ECS/CSCS – Essential
-
IPAF – Beneficial
-
DBS – Beneficial
-
Full UK driving licence – Essential
