Junior Design Engineer – Security Systems
Location : Letchworth – Could be elsewhere, with a requirement to attend the office weekly or bi-weekly, as long as you are able to reach the office.
Department : Engineering
Salary : £30,000 – £35,000
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Design Engineer with an electrical engineering background to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to develop a career in designing security systems, including access control, CCTV, intruder alarms, and door entry systems.
Key Responsibilities
– Assist in designing security system solutions.
– Collaborate with senior engineers to create technical drawings and specifications.
– Support system selection and installation processes.
– Learn and apply industry best practices for security systems.
Qualifications
– Background in electrical engineering or a related field.
– Interest in security systems (training provided).
– Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
– Good communication and team collaboration skills.
– Previous CAD experience is desired but not essential.
