Security Designer (2 Roles)
Location: Remote
Rate: £325–£375 per day
Contract Duration: 6 months (with possible extension)

Overview

We are seeking two experienced Security Designers to join our team on a remote basis. You will play a key role in designing and delivering advanced, integrated security solutions for large-scale projects valued above £100K. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with strong technical expertise in enterprise-level systems and a passion for delivering secure, efficient, and compliant infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop integrated electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection solutions.
  • Translate client requirements into detailed system designs and technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet performance, compliance, and operational standards.
  • Conduct system audits, risk assessments, and technical reviews to maintain quality assurance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support through the implementation and commissioning phases.

Required Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience designing and delivering integrated security systems exceeding £100K in scale.
  • Hands-on expertise with major security platforms such as CCure, Lenel, and Genetec.
  • Solid understanding of security system architecture, network integration, and system interoperability.
  • Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage project deliverables remotely.

Desirable

  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PSP, Security+).
  • Experience working within regulated or high-security environments.
