Role: Security Installation Engineer
Location: London
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 per annum + Overtime + Travel expenses + Accommodation
Technical Resources are seeking a Security Installation Engineer in London. As a Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of advanced security systems, including access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm solutions. You will work with high-profile clients, delivering security solutions to some of the UK’s most respected organisations, with frequent travel and work away from home.
Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and integrate access control systems, CCTV, intruder alarms, and other security solutions
- Ensure all works meet industry standards and company quality expectations
- Collaborate with project managers and the wider team to meet deadlines and budgets
- Maintain accurate installation and maintenance records
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Strong technical knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to travel and work away from home frequently
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience with Lenel security systems – desirable
- Experience with Genetec security systems – desirable
- ECS/CSCS card – desirable
- Engineers willing to undertake training to develop skills – desirable
