Role: Security Installation Engineer
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Technical Resources are currently recruiting for a Security Installation Engineer to work on commercial installation projects across multiple sites. As a Security Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems to a high standard, ensuring compliance, quality, and smooth project delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Installation of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
- 1st & 2nd fix cabling, containment, equipment installation, and system setup.
- Working from drawings and schematics provided by project teams.
- Liaising with site managers and project leads to ensure smooth delivery.
- Supporting commissioning engineers where required.
- Ensuring all installation work is compliant with site safety and industry regulations.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience installing electronic security systems.
- Strong experience with any of the following: Hikvision, Paxton, Texecom, Galaxy, Dahua, or similar.
- Confident with cabling, device installation, panel mounting, and system testing.
- Experience working on commercial construction sites is beneficial.
