Role: Security Installation Engineer
Location: York
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Technical Resources are working with a leading security systems integrator who specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Security Installation Engineer to their team to deliver high-quality installations across commercial and industrial sites.
Responsibilities:

Install and commission CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.

Work with both IP and analogue CCTV systems.

Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation.

Ensure installations meet company, NSI, and manufacturer standards.

Carry out system testing, programming, and client handovers.

Provide excellent customer service and support throughout project delivery.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 3 years’ experience installing security systems.

Strong technical understanding of CCTV, access control, and intruder systems.

Experience with systems such as Paxton, Texecom, Galaxy, and Hikvision (advantageous).

ECS or CSCS card preferred.

Full UK Driving Licence required.
