Role: Security Senior Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £38,000 to £43,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Security Senior Engineer looking to take the lead on high-profile security system projects? As a Security Senior Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering, commissioning, and supporting advanced CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems for a wide range of commercial and enterprise clients. Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems.
- Act as the senior technical point of contact for engineers and clients.
- Conduct site surveys, system testing, and troubleshooting.
- Support project delivery from planning through to handover.
- Ensure systems are installed and maintained in compliance with industry standards.
- Provide on-site mentoring and training for junior engineers.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with security systems in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IP CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder systems (e.g. Paxton, Lenel, Galaxy, Hikvision, Avigilon).
- Proven experience in commissioning integrated security solutions.
- ECS/CSCS Card (Essential).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
