Job Title: Security Service Engineer
Location: Manchester / Warrington / Liverpool
Rate: £240 p/day + mileage and expenses
Technical Resources is seeking an experienced Security Service Engineer to carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM), reactive service, and fault-finding on a range of CCTV and Intruder Alarm systems across the North West region. This role is ideal for a reliable and technically skilled engineer who can deliver high-quality work independently while maintaining excellent client communication and service standards.
Description of contract/programme of works:
- Perform PPM, service, and fault-finding across Intruder and CCTV systems
- Approximate workload split: 70% Intruder Alarms and 30% CCTV
- Work across commercial, retail, and public sector sites
- Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to high standards
- Complete job sheets and documentation daily
Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience servicing electronic security systems
- Proven background in CCTV and Intruder Alarm maintenance and repair
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients
Required documentation/certifications/tooling:

ECS/CSCS Card – Beneficial
