Role: Security Small Works Engineer
Location: Bristol
Salary: £32,000 to £40,000 per annum
Technical Resources are recruiting for an experienced Security Small Works Engineer to join a leading security systems integrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering small installation, upgrade, and remedial projects across a range of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.
Responsibilities:

Carry out small works installations, upgrades, and remedial tasks on security systems.

Install, configure, and test CCTV (IP & Analogue), Access Control, and Intruder Alarm systems.

Commission and hand over completed systems to clients.

Complete all relevant documentation, including test certificates and handover paperwork.

Liaise with project managers, clients, and end-users to deliver works on time and to specification.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, NSI standards, and health & safety regulations.

Provide technical support and assistance to the service and projects teams when required.
Experience and Certifications Required:

Minimum 3 years’ experience working as a Security Installation or Small Works Engineer.

Strong fault-finding and commissioning skills.
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple small projects simultaneously.

Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
