Security Supervisor – SSSTS
Location: Kings Cross, London
Rate: £357.16 per day – Outside IR35
Duration: 6–12 months (with potential for extension)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Physical Security Supervisor to oversee installation, and commissioning works on a large-scale project in Kings Cross. The successful candidate will ensure that all work related to CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate on-site physical security installation works, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company procedures.
- Review and understand cable routes, containment systems, and installation drawings.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely progress and quality control.
- Conduct daily briefings, site inspections, and toolbox talks in line with SSSTS requirements.
- Manage on-site documentation and report progress, issues, and risks to project management.
Experience & Skills
- Proven experience in physical security installation projects, covering CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
- Strong understanding of cable routing and containment installation.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities within construction or M&E environments.
Requirements
- SSSTS certification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
