Security Systems Installation Engineer | £40,000 | West Midlands
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and hand over Intruder Alarm Systems (Grade 2 & Grade 3), IP CCTV Systems, and Access Control Systems.
- Ensure all works comply with SSAIB standards and manufacturer requirements.
- Work on Texecom Intruder, Hikvision IP CCTV, and Paxton Access Control systems.
- Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
- Participate in the company’s on-call rota.
- Complete required documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Liaise with clients, project managers and office support team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Maintain a high level of technical knowledge through ongoing training provided by the company.
Essential Experience & Skills

Minimum 5 years’ experience installing and commissioning security systems.
Strong knowledge of:
- Texecom Intruder Alarms
- Hikvision IP CCTV systems
- Paxton Access Control
- Proven experience with monitored intruder systems, IP CCTV networks and access control infrastructures.
- Full clean UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently, problem-solve and deliver high-quality workmanship.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to pass security screening as required.
