Security Systems Installation Engineer – West Midlands

Security Systems Installation Engineer | £40,000 | West Midlands

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and hand over Intruder Alarm Systems (Grade 2 & Grade 3), IP CCTV Systems, and Access Control Systems.
  • Ensure all works comply with SSAIB standards and manufacturer requirements.
  • Work on Texecom Intruder, Hikvision IP CCTV, and Paxton Access Control systems.
  • Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally at all times.
  • Participate in the company’s on-call rota.
  • Complete required documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Liaise with clients, project managers and office support team to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Maintain a high level of technical knowledge through ongoing training provided by the company.

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience installing and commissioning security systems.

Strong knowledge of:

  • Texecom Intruder Alarms
  • Hikvision IP CCTV systems
  • Paxton Access Control

 

  • Proven experience with monitored intruder systems, IP CCTV networks and access control infrastructures.
  • Full clean UK driving licence.
  • Ability to work independently, problem-solve and deliver high-quality workmanship.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to pass security screening as required.
