Senior/Lead Electronic Security Systems Engineer – Up to £42,000 Basic
Covering South East / Kent / Surrey / London
We’re looking for a Senior/Lead Electronic Security Systems Engineer to support servicing, and maintenance across the South East, including Kent, Surrey, and London. You’ll work on a variety of commercial and residential sites, delivering high‑quality security solutions and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
– Install, commission, and maintain CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems
– Designing, Installing, Programming and commissioning of CCTV and integrated systems, to include but not limited to Access Control, Intruder and Fire alarms and gate automation
– Acting as an escalation point for complex or repeat issues
– Advising clients on system performance, improvements and remedial works
– Ensuring all works meets British Standards and Health and Safety requirements
– Producing clear, accurate service reports and documentation
– Providing technical leadership and mentoring junior staff members
– Locksmith works or an opportunity to learn this skill
– Participate in an on‑call rota when required
Requirements
– Proven experience working with electronic security systems
– Strong fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
– Full UK driving licence
– Confident communicator with a customer‑focused approach
This role offers a competitive basic salary up to £40,000, with opportunities for overtime, training, and long‑term progression.
