The Fraud Advisory Panel is launching its new Business Fraud Alliance campaign, sponsored by Barclays Corporate Banking. This campaign will share knowledge across multiple sectors through events, webinars, and research, over the next three years.
The Panel will launch a dedicated website in August to host free resources, such as help sheets and guides, to provide information on countering fraud for businesses. The Panel says it will work with the Panel’s members and supporters to use the knowledge of those in the field to strengthen the future of fraud prevention. They will do this by identifying and breaking down the barriers faced by businesses as they tackle the ever-present threat of economic crime.
Arun Chauhan, Director, Tenet and Trustee, Fraud Advisory Panel, said: “By uniting businesses regardless of sector and size, this joint campaign is a significant step forward in the field of counter fraud and one that presents a unique and exciting opportunity to demonstrate how collaboration in our profession works to make a meaningful difference to reducing the impact of fraud.”
And Lee Fitzgerald, Director, Fraud Risk Strategy, Barclays said: “We are pleased to be partnering with the Fraud Advisory Panel again. During the pandemic, it became very apparent that sharing knowledge and expertise across all sectors was key in the fight against fraud and scams. This campaign will bring businesses together with a diverse pool of counter fraud experts to help tackle a fast growing and global problem.”
