The Global SecurAlliance (GSA) summer meeting on 16 June was held at the stunning Château de Méry-sur-Oise on the outskirts of Paris. The event heard that GSA had won a number of international tenders to supply security services to global corporations and, as a result, will be engaging more with the security association IFPO regarding embedding its competency model and globally recognised security education and certification programs CPO and CSSM. GSA Members employ 100,000 security officers in 28 countries with a total revenue of €2.6 billion.
IFPO Global Advisory Board Member, Mike Hurst CPP CPOI, attending his third GSA meeting, was able to present the GSA CEO, Patrick Senior, pictured left, with their certificate of Strategic Partnership. Mike, pictured right, also presented Corporate Member certificates to Nick O’Connor of Bidvest Noonan and Marek Ruzicka of Czech organisation, M2C. The French partner BSL were represented by Lyes Iguedjtal, Tarik Ikhlef CPP® and Gora Ndao.
