CEDIP Infrared Systems (of Croissy-Beaubourg, France), specialists in thermal IR camera systems, recently celebrated its 15th anniversary.
Pierre Potet, the president of the company, founded CEDIP Infrared Systems in 1989. Since its inception, CEDIP has gone into optics, infrared focal plane array detectors, electronic hardware and software. The company has become a supplier of Infrared Imaging solutions for industry, R&D, medical and defense customers around the world.
Recently a new subsidiary company – CEDIP Infrared Systems GmbH – was opened to increase support to and further develop its growing base of customers in German speaking markets. Earlier this year CEDIP Infrared Systems received an award for international leadership and export performance in recognition of the company’s success in manufacturing innovative products in the scientific and security fields. In 2003, CEDIP achieved a growth of more than 50pc with export sales accounting for 70pc of turnover.
