HID Global announced that its new iCLASS SE family of products has been selected by the ASIS International security body as a winner of the 2011 ASIS Accolades โ Securityโs Best competition. Judges representing a cross-sector of end-users and technology experts evaluated more than 70 entries before selecting HID Globalโs next generation iCLASS SE platform as one of 2011’s most innovative.

HID Global says that its iCLASS SE platform is introducing technology-independent digital credentials that can be deployed for use on smart phones, microprocessor-based cards, contactless smart cards, USB tokens and related devices.

HID Global will demonstrate its physical and logical access control products and secure issuance technologies and partnerships at Booth #2400 at the Orange County Convention Center, September 19 to 22. In addition, representatives from ASSA ABLOY, Arizona State University, HID Global and BlackBerry-maker Research In Motion (RIM) will be speaking about this new platform at ASIS.
