Aviation security is among the topics at Passenger Terminal EXPO is the biggest international airport terminal exhibition and conference in London.
Among invited speakers at ExCel in Docklands from March 24 to 26 are from the UK, Andy Blackwell head of aviation security, and Ally Shearer manager border security and facilitiation at Virgin Atlantic Airways; Mike Fazackerley, director of security and customer service, at Manchester Airport; Ian Hutcheson, security director at airport operator BAA; Darius Aibara, associate director at consultancy TPS; and Insp Kevin Swinney, of Sussex Police, on Project Griffin at Gatwick Airport.
Speakers from elsewhere includeRowan Fogarty, head of safety, security and operational compliance at Dublin Airport; and the former director of security at Tel Aviv Ben Gurion airport in Israel, Rafi Ron. Chairing the sessions is consultant Peter Wilkins.
