Alarm management product company Bold Communications reports their Gemini integrated security software now supports TeleEye video recording servers.
The servers are designed to comply with the British Standard BS 8418:2003. The integration with Gemini offers users remote CCTV monitoring and visual alarm verification. Features include a range of events triggered by external alarm sensor, video motion, power interruption, tamper and arm/disarm control in the event management mechanism. The servers have SMAC-M multi-stream compression technology, which is the manufacturers say the first video coder in the market that outputs four optimal and independent digital video steams instead of a single one. SMAC-M it’s claimed records 60 per cent longer than MPEG-4. Also offered are mobile video monitoring and event management functions.
Wallace Ma, Director of TeleEye Europe Ltd, said: “We are pleased to team up with Bold Communications in providing an one-stop shop visual alarm verification and remote video monitoring solutions for their customers.
