Anti-computer virus software firm Sophos has announced its membership of the Anti-Spyware Coalition (ASC).
It’s an alliance of technology companies and public interest groups whose mission is to create a consensus regarding spyware definitions, plus best practice in the debate surrounding spyware and other potentially unwanted software.
Protection from spyware is a feature of Sophos’s anti-virus applications, the firm adds.
