The next Association of Security Consultants business club meeting on Thursday, July 15 is sponsored by Samsung Techwin Europe.
It’s at the usual venue, Bury House, 33 Bury Street, St James’s, London SW1Y 6AX and the topic is integrated security systems. After the 10am welcome and update on ASC events from Roy Sutherland, association chairman, Simon Shawley, General Manager UK & Ireland, Samsung will speak about why the choice between analogue and IP systems is being made easier through inter-operability of the two disciplines onto single platform control and viewing software.
Next speaker is Mark Hanna, security man at News International, has been covering the security for his news organisation in South Africa during the 2010 World Cup and will be highlighting lessons learned for the 2012 London Olympics. An article by Mark on this topic was in the May print issue of Professional Security magazine.
Then Mike Catton, Business Development Manager at Samsung will discuss ways to raise the quality of your current system with, he sys, very modest investment by taking advantage of the latest technology.
