The Identicom from Bold Communications is an attack alarm for lone workers operating in a variety of industries, the makers say.
Identicom is the latest addition to Bold’s Central Station solutions portfolio – the Identicom lone worker attack alarm.
The product solves the lone worker protection dilemma, its makers claim. Designed as a discreet ID card holder worn around the neck or on a lapel clip, the Identicom contains a GSM module, a SIM card, and a microphone. In the event of physical or verbal abuse, the worker can send a panic alarm signal to the Bold monitoring system and open up a voice call for the operator to listen in, all without alerting the attacker, the makers add.
