by msecadm4921

Ubiqz, the specialist security product division of the Midwich Group, will be exhibiting at IFSEC, the UK security industry event, at the Birmingham NEC from May 16 to 19, 2011.

Anand Subbiah, general manager of Ubiqz, said: “We have really strengthened the business since our acquisition by Midwich late last year. In addition to signing up a host of industry-leading brands, we have also upgraded our systems and logistical capabilities and recruited specialist staff with considerable industry experience. We are looking forward to unveiling the new and improved Ubiqz and meeting our customers.” In Hall 4 on Stand H20, Ubiqz will use IFSEC to showcase the latest IP and analogue security products and software from its product portfolio. The Norfolk-based distributor has signed new vendor agreements over the past six months and now represents brands including Bosch Security Systems UK, CBC Group, JVC, Maxxess, Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanyo, UTC, Veracity, AG Neovo and ExacqVision.

As the specialist security division of the Midwich Group, Ubiqz offers the technical expertise and understanding of a small specialist distributor with the formidable logistics and financial strength of its larger parent company. Visitors to the Ubiqz stand will also be able to find out more about the distributor’s range of customer support services such as online ordering, next day delivery and instant credit.

Ubiqz security specialists will be on hand throughout the show to discuss the latest issues in the security sector, including:

•The advent of IP technology (and the latest products to hit the market)
•The convergence of IP and analogue systems
•HD camera resolutions
•The integration of access control systems
•Choosing the correct fiber, network or UTP connectivity solution
