Sony has introduced IPELA, a suite of IP-based network video monitoring and video conferencing products.
The manufacturers report that IPELA uses the rapidly expanding IP broadband network and high-resolution imaging technology,with security, CCTV and remote monitoring applications. Users can transmit and receive visual information from cameras remotely and in real-time, and experience greater accuracy and choice of format than before, it is claimed.
