The Five documentary CCTV Cities broadcast earlier this year is being repeated.
Featuring many control rooms from across the UK, Channel Five programme CCTV Cities features crimes caught on camera in local borough control rooms ranging from Blackburn, Edinburgh, Leeds, London and Wigan. The first series of the programme was aired on Five during Summer 2008 and the second series is due to air on 6 October at 10pm. Journalist Donal MacIntyre looks at the role of CCTV from a control room operatorsโ perspective. Many of the control rooms featured in the series feature LCD and CRT monitors from JVC. JVC adds that its LCD monitors feature in many control rooms across the UK including the LM-H191 19-inch LCD monitor.
