Endemol are best known for producing Big Brother and Changing Rooms. Their UK TV operation is on three floors of a refurbished building in Shepherds Bush. Historically they used manned guarding to keep casual intruders out. Danny Chapman, Endemol facilities manager, says: ?This did sometimes cause difficulties. We do have a high turnover. Quite a few of the staff are freelance production people and will only be coming to us for the duration of the production they are working on. The security people would quite often ring me in the evenings and weekends to check they could allow certain people in.? Mercury Security Systems installed the Net2 access control system from Paxton Access. Endemol no longer has manned guarding, yet Danny feels the offices are better protected.
