Secretary Michael Chertoff, a former United States Department of Homeland Security Secretary and co-founder and Managing Principal, Chertoff Group, LLC is to share insights in Dubai with senior government officials and business leaders on political corruption, cyber crime, corporate fraud and terrorism.
The man who was responsible for what’s called the ‘national and infrastructure protection plan’, investigated and prosecuted cases of political corruption, organized crime, corporate fraud and terrorism – including the investigation of the 9/11 terrorist attacks – will be a key speaker at MIS Training Institute’s dual events, third annual Chief Information Security Officer Middle East Summit and Roundtable and Middle East Fraud & Corruption Summit, starting on January 31, 2011 in Dubai.
Participants will discuss security issues such as protecting the IT infrastructure, malware and its harmful effects, security risks of cloud computing. There will also be an opening keynote by Eng. Tariq Al Hawi, Director of The United Arab Emirates Computer Emergency Response Team of The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA).
