The ability to record radio traffic is fast becoming an essential add-on to two-way radio systems, report product firm Storacall.
The new DigiStor range of communications recorders marketed by Storacall Voice Systems provide recording of analogue radio traffic ensuring that an indisputable record of conversations is retained, according to the firm.
The DigiStor range comprises the CD4, which is a self contained four-channel unit providing real-time monitoring of traffic, the firm reports. Calls are recorded and backed up on to CD and calls can then be played back on any Windows PC and the call analysis software allows users to locate calls by time and date, channel ID, caller name or notes. You can also copy, email, encrypt and transfer calls. The DigiStor NW4 is a network version which records radio traffic on an integral 120GB hard disk and calls can be located and played via any web browser on a local area network.
