Exhibiting at at Securex in London from October 12 to 14 are AES-IntelliNet.
The company’s wireless mesh communications systems are used for relaying fire and security alarm messages to a central alarm monitoring station. Units installed at the alarm panels hop their alarm signals through other AES-IntelliNet units to relay the alarm message to the central monitoring station. These units create a wide area wireless mesh network creating multiple wireless paths to ensure the message gets through. Therefore, AES-IntelliNet eliminates the need for dedicated repeaters/towers, mobile and telephone lines, and their associated ongoing costs, the makers say.
