The ESSA Security Group is exhibiting its latest version of Touchview, the computer-based CCTV control system at IFSEC (stand U130). The software uses touch-screen technology to provide navigation around installations using graphical site plans and control symbols. The system can be interfaced with control room hardware, making for efficient use of operators, the manufacturer reports. Equipment such as matrix switches, video recorders, and multiplexers are all supported from the operator terminal, using custom icons and graphical site plans. Multiple terminal positions can be added to the system.
