Here’s the programme for CONSEC 2010, the annual international conference and exhibition of the Association of Security Consultants (ASC). Now in its 16th year, it’s on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the Royal Air Force Museum at Hendon, London.
“Business Protection – The Holistic Approach?” is the theme for this year and the event say organisers will be of interest not only to security professionals, but also to leaders in government, industry and commerce.
Lord James Bethell, one of the patrons of the Association of Security Consultants, will be chairing the day and will as last year provide the opening address.
Patrick Mercer OBE MP will give the keynote address.
Other speakers include Paul Wood (Group Chief Security Officer, Aviva) who will cover the global aspect of business protection and John Davies (Head of Security, United Utilities) will talk about the regulated sector.
A presentation entitled “Integration – The Technology Holistic Solution?” will be given by Simon Lambert (MD of Lambert Associates); Simon has made an assurance it will not be too ‘techie speak’. Colin Braziel (Chairman, Griffin Security Group) will participate with ‘Consultancy – Rising to the Challenge’.
The continuing aspect of terrorism on business will also be addressed in a separate presentation.
Major sponsor for the conference will be Lenel Systems International Inc., and they will be joined by other sponsors including Salto, Vicon, MeritLilin, KABA, Clearview Communications, Tyco International and Bold Communications. The media partner will be Professional Security Magazine.
Delegates will have time to view the sponsors’ exhibits and to see the aeroplanes and other memorabilia at the RAF Museum.
