Vigilant Security Services seek a corporate security manager.
The role will be based in the heart of London’s prime real estate managing in excess of 100 security officers, over a number of sites. The role will be demanding and there will be many challenges, coupled with high performance expectations. The post will attract a salary of £40k-plus, which is negotiable depending upon experience, plus travel and clothing allowances.. <br><br>You will lead a strong team in the delivery of a professional security service, protecting the assets, personnel and reputation of both the client and Vigilant Security Services – whilst simultaneously providing an enhanced customer experience through client facing staff. Working closely with the client, you will be directly responsible for leading, managing and delivering an operating performance that will exceed the expectations of the client. <br><br>Key Responsibilities:<br><br>•To become quickly familiarised with all aspects of the portfolio operation.<br>•To ensure that the service is provided and monitored in accordance with the Service Level Agreement.<br>•Producing monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports to meet the requirements of the Employers Representative.<br>•Building and maintaining strong relationships with all key stake-holders and Occupants.<br>•Budget responsibility for the efficient delivery of a cost effective service to the client, delivering consistent performance against agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).<br>•Providing an enhanced front of house customer experience.<br>•Ensuring compliance with all statutory / contractual standards and regulations.<br>•Effective management of work schedules including temporary assignments.<br><br>The ideal candidate:<br><br>•Proven multi-disciplinary experience in the police or military professions. <br>•Strong leadership and man management skills; ability to challenge, coach, motivate and train staff to produce effective results.<br>•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels. .<br>•Ability to build, develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients, suppliers and internal support services.<br>•A self-starter, with a confident and resilient nature, excellent problem solving skills, clear focus on performance improvement and an ability to operate under pressure, with the minimum of supervision and direction.<br>•Ability to prioritise and manage tasks and directives which may conflict each other.<br>•Able to produce informative and concise reports to deadlines.<br>•A working knowledge of contract and health and safety issues would be desirable.<br>•Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.<br><br>Applications with current CV should be e-mailed to [email protected].
