The fourth Network and Information Security (NIS’11) Summer School will run on the Greek island of Crete, from June 27 to July 1.
It’s jointly organised by the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA) and the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (ICS-FORTH).<br><br>The theme for this year is: "The Challenge of the Changing Risk Landscape".<br><br>Based on Crete, ENISA aims to promote a culture of security in Europe that will improve the ability of EU Member States to respond to cyber-attacks.<br><br>The venue is Aldemar Knossos Royal Village hotel, a resort on the north coast of the island in Hersonissos. The event includes a talk by Dr Marc Dacier, Senior Director, Symantec Research Labs – Europe and US; and winds up on Friday, July 1 with a visit to the archaeological site of Knossos.
