Taking a critical look at the Top 100 players in the market, analysts Plimsoll have published a Future Players Analysis which speculates on which companies will figure most. Looking at 10 key areas the analysis shows how current performance might change and how the company will respond to competition. Each company has been assessed on its merits and its performance analysed to expose strengths and weakness, Plimsoll report. This analysis names 11 losing pace, three of which had sales of over œ90m. These companies are not alone in their retreat, as 11 other companies have been named that require a period of great change in order to compete.
Many companies have elected to capture market based on debt, say Plimsoll. While the risk associated with this strategy is high, the short-term effect on others is profound, Plimsoll say. This method of survival is in direct contrast to the 14 companies adopting a more ?steady ship? approach. Of course who can criticise a strategy of maximising profits if only perhaps if it is at the expense of a place in the future of the industry. The Top 100 Security Future Players Analysis carries two pages of analyses per company with several added features new to a Plimsoll analysis.
Plimsoll say they have determined the current and future value or worth of each of the Top 100 companies in the analysis. The report also predicts the likely strategy each company is to take over the next 12 months. If looking for a company to buy, the analysis
names other companies in the security industry each company could realistically purchase. For details call (01642) 626400 or visit www.plimsoll.co.uk.
